I have to be honest. At times, life as a copywriter in the UK can be pretty boring. When corporate content is on the agenda, I find it tough to stay engaged and deliver something unique.
It’s not surprising, I guess. Corporations are risk-averse. They don’t want to rock the boat with adventurous copy that pushes boundaries. They want to get key messages across without being controversial or unusual.
Corporate content can be hopelessly generic, which is probably one of the reasons why AI does so much of it these days.
Bit occasionally…very occasionally, something drops on my lap that gets me excited by corporate copy again. OK, that sounded wrong, but you catch my drift.
Rather than just another company profile, Reseau wanted to do something different. The guys asked me to create a manifesto. But they wanted to take risks.
I duly obliged.
This project was a lot of fun. Copywriting can be a slog at times, but this project gave me a rare opportunity to let my creative juices flow.
Please forgive the length of the paragraphs. This was a design thing. But I’m sure this example of creative copywriting will give you a good idea of what I can do for your business.
Just a quick point: This brand is no longer on the interweb. Or at least it’s not called Reseau anymore.
